Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as an Orthopaedic Ward Lead in University Hospital Ayr. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your leadership skills and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the ward team, ensuring that patients receive safe and effective care. You will work closely with the Senior Charge Nurse to maintain clinical and staff governance, promoting a culture of excellence and respect within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification
  • Significant post-registration experience in Orthopaedics
  • Post-registration qualification relevant to specialty or equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of organisational policies and procedures
