We are seeking a skilled Oxygen Equipment Specialist to join our team at Blue Arrow, working with our clients' patients at home. This is a 6-month full-time role with the potential to become permanent after the contract period.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring patients receiving oxygen therapy at home have the necessary equipment and supplies. This involves the safe delivery, setup, instruction, and maintenance of home oxygen equipment and other related medical devices.
**Key Responsibilities:**- Install, deliver, and set up oxygen equipment in patients' homes, ensuring everything is working correctly and risk assessments are completed.
- Educate patients and their carers on the proper use, care, and maintenance of oxygen equipment.
- Routinely maintain and service oxygen equipment, repairing any issues as they arise.
- Ensure accurate completion of documentation and maintenance logs.
- Follow company policies and procedures for safety, equipment handling, and patient care.
- Participate in an on-call rota to address equipment failures or patient needs.
- Vast customer service experience.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Basic mechanical skills for equipment setup and repair.
- Full clean UK driving license.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
Desirable experience includes working in a medical oxygen environment.
