Job Overview

We are seeking a Special Needs Instructor to provide personalized education support to young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD), or other Additional Educational Needs.

This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about empowering disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners in Staffordshire. You will be supported throughout every placement by our team of SEN/SEND Support Specialists.

Main Responsibilities
  • Developing and delivering tailored education plans to meet the needs of each young person
  • Providing regular feedback and progress updates
  • Collaborating with our SEN/SEND Support Specialists to ensure effective support
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Valid Qualified Teacher Status/QTS/QTLS qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience
  • Proven experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs
  • Enhanced DBS check (we can assist with obtaining this)
  • Two professional references
Terms and Conditions
  • This position involves short-term placements as and when required
  • You will work through a contract for service and receive PAYE payments

Estimated Salary: £30-£38 per hour
