We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist, CBT Therapist, or Counselling Psychologist to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and CBT for Psychosis (CBTp) services to clients with long-term rehabilitation needs.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver CBT and CBTp Services: Provide CBT and CBTp services to clients with long-term rehabilitation needs, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective treatment and support.
- Supervise Trainee Psychologists and Assistant Psychologists: Supervise and mentor trainee psychologists and assistant psychologists to ensure they receive the necessary support and guidance to develop their skills and expertise.
- Contribute to Service Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of high-quality services that are underpinned by evidence-based practice, care pathways, and NICE guidelines.
- Participate in Research and Audits: Participate in research and audits to ensure that services are delivered in a safe and effective manner, and to identify areas for improvement.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure that services are delivered in a culturally sensitive and needs-led manner.
- Manage Caseload Effectively: Manage caseload effectively, ensuring that clients receive timely and effective treatment and support.
- Experience of working in multidisciplinary teams and delivering CBT and CBTp services.
- Post-qualification experience in CBTp, or additional training in CBTp for BABCP Accredited Cognitive Behaviour Therapists.
- Ability to supervise and mentor trainee psychologists and assistant psychologists.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
