Job Overview

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced teacher to work with a school in Hull, providing academic support to students in KS1 and KS2. The successful candidate will deliver targeted interventions to help students catch up on their learning and achieve age-expected levels.

Main Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging booster sessions to students in KS1 and KS2
  • Assess student progress and collaborate with class teachers to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to address specific gaps in student knowledge
  • Prepare students for end-of-year assessments and track their progress
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective support system
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child development and learning, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other support staff. A background in education or a related field is essential, and experience working with students who require additional support is highly desirable.
