About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Mobility and Immigration Specialist to join our team at momondo. As a key member of our Global Mobility and Immigration team, you will play a critical role in leading global mobility and immigration needs across our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Global Mobility and Immigration Expertise
    • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of global mobility and immigration laws, regulations, and best practices, particularly within Europe.
    • Provide expert guidance and support to employees and stakeholders on global mobility and immigration-related matters.
  • Case Management
    • Manage and optimize the company's global mobility and immigration processes, ensuring efficient and timely completion.
    • Collaborate closely with external legal counsel to drive timely and accurate information, ensuring that all parties are kept informed and aligned.
  • Process Improvement
    • Identify and implement a scalable and structured approach to handling cases, enhancing efficiency and minimizing disruption and reactive urgent requests.
    • Establish a comprehensive and systematic process for collecting and analyzing data on all costs associated with immigration and mobility for active and upcoming cases.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Partner with other key internal teams, such as Compensation, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and Legal, to ensure smooth and efficient case management.
    • Proactively gather and share knowledge on immigration laws, visa requirements, and standard processes with HR Business Partners and employees.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of demonstrated ability in managing global mobility and immigration processes, including visa applications, renewals, and relocations across multiple regions, with a strong focus on European immigration laws and regulations.
  • In-depth knowledge of immigration laws, visa categories, work permits, and global mobility best practices, particularly within Europe.
  • Proven experience in managing sophisticated cases with tight deadlines, including the end-to-end handling of visa cases and relocations.
  • Experience in gathering, analyzing, and reporting on data related to immigration and mobility.
  • Experience with HR technology, specifically Workday.
  • Experience in managing budgets for global mobility programs, including forecasting and cost analysis.
