Nursery Chef

We are seeking a skilled Nursery Cook to join our team at CV-Library. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday shifts from 8am to 3pm, preparing healthy and nutritious meals for children in the nursery.

• Develop and implement weekly menus in consultation with the management team, ensuring compliance with food and drink policies.
• Maintain accurate records of meal planning, food ordering, and inventory management within agreed budgets.
• Cater to children with allergies, adhering to our allergies policy and maintaining the allergen file.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food, kitchen equipment, and supplies.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and surrounding areas.
• Comply with food safety regulations and Safer Food, Better Business documentation requirements.
• Promote healthy eating habits among children and staff.

The ideal candidate will have minimum two years' experience in catering, including food preparation for special dietary needs. They must also hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and knowledge of food safety management procedures. We offer an estimated salary of £13.00 per hour (based on 30 hours per week), commensurate with experience and qualifications.
