Your New Role as Finance Business Partner:
Reporting to the senior finance lead, the new Finance Business Partner will work in a friendly team and responsibilities will include:
- Develop, implement and maintain procedures to ensure an accurate and complete month end process
- Prepare monthly direct costs and overheads cost report
- Prepare material cost reports and investigate standard cost variances
- Support with budgeting and business planning activities
- Regular liaison with budget holders to review costs against budget
- Analysis of key trends and highlighting these to senior management
- Support the wider finance team with ad hoc projects as required
- Ensure appropriate financial and internal controls are in place as required
Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:
The ideal candidate will be proven in a similar level Management Accounting/Finance Business Partnering position, ideally with knowledge of a manufacturing or product based business. Full CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification is required and strong communication and business partnering skills are pivotal, with the ability to influence and challenge where required. Strong IT skills are also essential including Excel as you will be using complex models and spreadsheets, handling large data volumes.
