Private Equity Enablement Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our Private Equity Enablement team at BDO UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and development of our Private Equity practice.
Key Responsibilities- Support the cross-disciplinary Private Equity Leadership team in stewarding firmwide PE activities
- Work with the Ethics and Learning & Development teams to upskill practitioners in identifying and navigating opportunities and possible conflicts
- Collaborate with BDO international member firms to manage MSA obligations globally
- Support the KAMA programme from a family tree/independence perspective
- Record keeper for the PE Designation committee
- Guide PE practitioners in all Streams as subject matter expert for PE
- Work with BDO Global project teams to influence the development of systems to ensure the UK firm's regulatory and firmwide requirements are incorporated
- Relevant experience in a similar role interpreting/applying ethical standards or a similar regulatory framework
- Awareness of the UK and international codes of ethics
- Experience of interpreting regulation and how to apply rules in a practical way
- Understanding of risk management and conflict of interest principles and how to apply these in practice
- Strong communication skills – both written and oral – with the ability to communicate and present confidently and professionally with people at all levels
- Ability to quickly build trusted working relationships with senior practitioners
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to solve complex problems and drive tasks through to completion
- Strong organisational and project management skills with experience of working on complex projects
