About the Role
Lancaster University is seeking a skilled Mechanical Supervisor to join our Facilities Division - Estates Operations department. As a key member of our Facilities Maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our campus facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Take a lead role in the operational implementation of mechanical skilled and semi-skilled work across campus.
- Manage the issuing of prioritized mechanical works to your team and appointed contractors via our helpdesk / work management system.
- Review and manage service performance against set service level requirements.
- Offer practical technical support to the wider team in support of refurbishment projects, planned events, and operational needs.
- Ensure the team remains trained, well briefed, and competent to work safely and effectively while meeting health and safety best practice standards.
