We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Developer to join our team at NTT DATA, Inc. as a Strategic Java Developer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining resilient and sustainable APIs that enable exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and develop high-quality Java microservices that meet the security and reliability standards expected of critical customer services.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the evolution of our engineering capabilities through the adoption of new tools, technologies, and best practices.
  3. Provide mentoring and guidance to junior developers to ensure that all code meets agreed standards and processes.
  4. Contribute to the code review process across different projects and help drive strategic change across the organization.

Requirements

  1. Minimum of 5 years' experience in Java microservice development or equivalent experience.
  2. Strong understanding of Java (JDK 8 or later) core features, including streams, lambdas, multithreading, and NIO.
  3. Experience with API management ecosystems and ability to design and develop high-quality API solutions.
  4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
