Job Role:
A Regulatory Specialist is required by CK Group to work with a chemicals manufacturing company in the construction industry. The role is based in Belper and involves a full-time permanent position.

About the Company:
Our client is a well-established chemicals manufacturing company. They are looking for a Regulatory Specialist to be responsible for regulatory compliance for their European business.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Regulatory Specialist, your main duties will be to:
  • Authorise and manage Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in compliance with UK and International regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with various regulations related to the business, including UK and EU REACH, GB and EU CLP, and PIC.
  • Compile Poison Centre Notifications Dossiers and maintain compliance with Member State requirements.
  • Monitor currently used chemicals for risk analysis on future regulatory actions or restrictions.
  • Advise the logistics team on compliance with dangerous goods legislation for the transportation of goods.
  • Manage the relationship with consulting firms on regulatory matters.
  • Collaborate with R&D teams on regulatory reviews of new material or product developments.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Toxicology, or a related field, with 10 years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance desired.
  • Alternatively, a Master's or PhD in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Toxicology, or a related field, with 5 years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance.
