Job Title: Quarry Fitter
We are seeking a skilled Quarry Fitter to join our team at Aggregate Industries UK Limited. As a Quarry Fitter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe maintenance and repair of our mobile and fixed plant equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repair work on quarry equipment, including crushers, conveyors, and screeners.
- Diagnose faults and perform mechanical and electrical repairs to ensure minimal downtime and optimal functionality.
- Assist in planned maintenance tasks and participate in scheduled machine overhauls.
- Collaborate with site management to plan and prioritise maintenance work efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards at all times.

Requirements:
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning and improvement.

- Adherence to safe operating procedures and fostering safety for oneself and colleagues.
- Basic IT skills for data entry and management.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to meet operational requirements.
- Proven experience in mechanical fitting within an industrial, quarry, or similar heavy machinery environment.
- A relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
