About the Role

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to provide one-to-one support to students who require additional assistance in the classroom. This may involve working with students who have physical or sensory impairments, learning difficulties, or mental health challenges. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans that cater to each student's unique needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide high-quality support to students with special educational needs in a secondary school setting.
  • To work collaboratively with teachers, teaching assistants, and other support staff to deliver effective learning strategies and interventions.
  • To maintain accurate records of student progress and adapt support plans as needed.
  • To communicate effectively with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure seamless transitions and coordination of support services.

Requirements
