This role is ideal for an experienced Associate Director, Legal (Privacy) seeking a challenging opportunity to drive the improvement and implementation of a global privacy program.

As a key member of our Legal and privacy team based in London, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with new privacy laws and regulations across ABK, covering King globally and Activision Blizzard in EMEA, LATAM and ANZ.

You will lead global privacy projects, collaborate with international cross-functional teams, manage the group's GDPR compliance program, and prepare, maintain and update privacy documentation.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have PQE 7+ with experience gained in a similar role, either in a law firm and/or in-house. You should also have strong experience advising on data protection and privacy requirements, excellent attention to detail, written and communication skills, and good understanding of online technologies and their privacy implications.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading global privacy projects to ensure compliance with new privacy laws and regulations
  • Collaborating with international cross-functional teams on various products and services
  • Managing the group's GDPR compliance program
  • Preparing, maintaining and updating privacy documentation

Required skills and qualifications:

  • PQE 7+ with experience gained in a similar role, either in a law firm and/or in-house
  • Strong experience advising on data protection and privacy requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail, written and communication skills
  • Good understanding of online technologies and their privacy implications
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organisation
