Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Key Stage 2 (KS2) teacher to join our permanent staff team. As a KS2 teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, ensuring they reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to support student learning and development.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through participation in school events and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience of teaching KS2, with a track record of raising pupil achievement.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively with staff, students, and parents.
  • A proactive approach to professional development and a willingness to contribute to the school's ethos and values.
