As a Head Chef at Avery Healthcare, you'll play a vital role in managing and leading a culinary team that delivers high-quality meals to our residents. Your focus will be on providing nutritionally balanced, comprehensive, and visually appealing food that meets individual needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and directing a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure seamless meal preparation and service.
  • Placing food orders with approved suppliers, ensuring good quality provisions are sourced within budget limits.
  • Supervising and training junior staff to develop their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Two years' experience managing a culinary team in the care or hospitality sectors.
  • Hold a relevant catering qualification – City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or NVQ.
  • Demonstrate passion and commitment to delivering high-quality culinary standards.
  • Able to control a budget effectively.
