About Us: We are a well-funded Deep-Tech Start-up dedicated to innovation and excellence in the field of electric motor design.

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Electric Motor Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electromagnetic performance and commercial motor design software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide optimization of e-motor processes
  • Develop internal simulation tools in collaboration with the simulation and ML/AI teams
  • Run detailed electromagnetic simulations of different e-motors
  • Apply solid understanding of complex processes impacting electromagnetic performance

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Master's Degree in e-motor design/performance, PhD highly beneficial
  • ~5+ years experience designing electric motor powertrains with a focus on electromagnetic performance
  • Knowledge of commercial motor design software such as Ansys Maxwell, MotorCAD or JMAG
