Project Engineer Job Description

White Label Recruitment Ltd is representing an engineering business in Sheffield that requires a Project Engineer to oversee managing projects from initial specification through to commissioning.

As a Project Engineer, you will work with a team of highly motivated engineers to ensure design work and procurement stages are carried out to meet contract deadlines and then follow the contract through its life cycle onto customer handover of the completed project.

Projects are based in the UK and overseas, and as a result, you'd be expected to travel as part of the role. Overseas trips are usually twice a year and can be 2-4 weeks.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage projects from initial specification to commissioning
  2. Oversee design work and procurement stages to meet contract deadlines
  3. Follow the contract through its life cycle onto customer handover of the completed project
  4. Travel to UK and overseas locations as required
Requirements
  1. Minimum 5 years of project engineering or management experience in a mechanical discipline
  2. Willingness to travel and stay away in the UK and overseas (trips are infrequent)
Package on Offer
  1. A salary of £40,000 - £50,000 + car allowance
  2. Pension - 7.5% Matched Contribution / 4x Life Cover

  4. 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  5. 37.5 hours/week - Monday to Friday
