Defence Sector Physicist

At Newton Colmore Consulting, we are seeking a talented Physicist to join our team in Cambridge. This exciting opportunity involves working on cutting-edge technologies that enhance the UK's defence against external threats.
You will be part of a dynamic team focusing on defensive technologies, including thermal, optics, electromagnetics, acoustics, fluidics, chemical, and other scientific technologies. If you have experience with complex projects in these fields, please provide as much detail as possible on your CV.
A strong interest in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning is welcomed, as many of your projects will involve work in this field.
We offer an excellent starting salary, estimated at £60,000-£80,000 per annum, dependent on experience. The compensation package includes a bonus, enhanced pension, dental care, gym access, free lunch, and other benefits.
The role requires a PhD holder in a post-doc role or someone with years of industry experience. We are looking to recruit several individuals for this team, so if you are in the early stages of your career, you will receive development opportunities, and if you are further along, you will have the chance to mentor junior team members.
