Building Condition Specialist

Building Condition Specialist Role Summary: Protect asset longevity by undertaking building condition surveys, preparing specifications and plans, and identifying defects. Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough building condition surveys, environmental surveys, and schedules of dilapidations.
- Produce accurate survey reports, specifications, estimated and quantified schedules of work, scaled drawings, and plans for tender documentation.
- Commission specialist surveys and obtain relevant documentation.
- Carry out compliance surveys for Welsh Housing Quality Standard (WHQS), Housing Health and Safety Rating Scheme (HHSRS).
Key Qualifications:
- SMSTS or equivalent
- Asbestos awareness and non-licensable works (Cat B)
- First Aid at Work IOSH
- Degree, HNC in Building Surveying, Building Construction or building related discipline
