About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to join our team at Dorset Healthcare University NHS. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our physiotherapy services.

**Job Summary:** The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, treating, and educating patients with musculoskeletal conditions. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, promoting optimal patient outcomes and enhancing their overall well-being.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose patients with musculoskeletal conditions, developing comprehensive treatment plans that address their specific needs.
  • Provide evidence-based interventions, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and education, to promote pain management, improved function, and enhanced quality of life.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions between care settings and optimize patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.

**Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must possess a Diploma or BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy, along with State registration in the UK as a physiotherapist. Additionally, you should have evidence of knowledge of current best practice in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and relevant postgraduate training in this area. A motivated and enthusiastic attitude, excellent communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment are also essential.
