A leading construction company in the UK is seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of projects, including cost control, value engineering, and contract administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed cost plans and estimates
  • Monitor project costs and identify potential cost savings
  • Manage variations and claims
  • Prepare and submit interim and final accounts
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Conduct site visits to assess progress and identify potential issues

The ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications and experience, including a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC), and proficiency in construction software (e.g., Excel, CostX, Asite).

We estimate the salary for this role to be between £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, considering the location and industry standards.
