Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments and investigations to identify and mitigate risks to children
  • Develop and implement effective plans to support children and families in need
  • Collaborate with other professionals and agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to child protection
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders on child safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Participate in court proceedings and provide evidence to support the best interests of children
Requirements:
  • Qualified Social Worker with a degree in Social Work or a related field
  • HCPC registration and eligibility to work in the UK
  • Proven experience working with children and families in a safeguarding context
  • Excellent knowledge of child safeguarding policies, procedures, and legislation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
