About the Role

Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Lead to join its Community Mental Health Team. The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership and expertise, driving service improvement and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consultant-level care and guidance to patients in a community setting.
  • Lead the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation projects.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to strengthen links and foster effective communication with Primary Care.
  • Assess new referrals and provide phone advice for clinical staff.
  • Teach and train junior doctors and medical students, as well as other clinical staff and trainees.
Person Specification

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A primary medical degree and full registration with the GMC.
  • Inclusion on the Specialist Register or completion of CCT within 6 months of interview date.
  • Experience of leading a multi-disciplinary team and teaching/training colleagues.
  • Strong clinical knowledge, skills, and risk management abilities.
  • Leadership and management skills, with a capacity to form therapeutic relationships.
