Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Executive Director of Child Care Services to join our team at the CareTech Group.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced leader to take charge of our child care services, overseeing the delivery of high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex needs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and resources to provide excellent care and meet the needs of our service users.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of our child care services, ensuring that they are delivered in accordance with our policies and procedures.
  • Manage a team of staff, providing guidance, support and training to ensure that they are equipped to deliver high-quality care.
  • Work closely with other departments within the organization to ensure that our child care services are integrated with other services and that we are meeting the needs of our service users.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of our child care services, ensuring that they are safe, effective and responsive to the needs of our service users.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including financial data and statistics on service user outcomes.
Requirements
  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent in a relevant field such as social work, nursing or education.
  • Proven experience of working in a senior leadership role within a childcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, service users and other stakeholders.
  • Able to manage budgets and resources effectively, with a track record of delivering high-quality care within budget.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation and regulations, including the Children Act and Ofsted requirements.
