Job Overview

This role is responsible for providing support and care to young people with complex needs in a residential setting. You will work closely with our team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing direct care and support to young people, including medication management, personal care, and daily living skills
  • Assisting with educational and recreational activities, promoting social and emotional development
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any changes or concerns
  • Collaborating with colleagues and external agencies to achieve positive outcomes
Requirements
  • Full UK driving license
  • Desire to earn a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent
  • 12 months senior experience in a residential setting (desirable)
Benefits
  • Competitive salary: £13.40 - £14.22 per hour (dependent on experience/qualifications)
  • Overtime rate: 1.25
  • 25 hours per week contract, late shifts: 4pm - 11pm
  • Twice-weekly rolling rota with every second weekend off
