The Emerald Group is seeking an accomplished Data-Driven Actuary to join our team in London/Fareham. This is a permanent position offering a salary of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum.

Job Overview

In this exciting role, you will work closely with our team to develop and maintain data-driven insights, drive business decisions, and enhance our actuarial capabilities. As a Data-Driven Actuary, you will utilise your expertise in pricing analysis, portfolio monitoring, and data visualization to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pricing analysis: producing high-quality pricing analyses, supporting model improvements, and enhancing enrichment datasets.
  • Portfolio monitoring: developing and maintaining trusted data dashboards, forecasting emerging performance trends, and communicating key portfolio insights.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: working closely with claims, reserving, underwriting, and finance teams to provide first-class service and foster a data-driven culture.
Requirements
  • Working towards Actuarial qualifications.
  • Experience in an Actuarial role, preferably in General Insurance.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office, SQL, R, and Power BI.
  • Excellent market, risk, and business awareness.
