Penguin Recruitment is excited to announce a Conservation Scientist role in our Cambridge office. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to delivering high-quality ecological services to clients across various sectors.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in ecology, experience working within an environmental consultancy, and knowledge of protected species licensing and Biodiversity Net Gain. This role requires a strong understanding of ecological principles and survey methods.
This position offers a competitive salary of £27,500 - £32,500 per annum, based on experience, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth. We encourage applicants who are passionate about conservation and have a solid foundation in ecology to apply.
Key Tasks:
- Conducting protected species surveys
- Writing ecological reports
- Data collection and analysis
Requirements:
- Experience working within an environmental consultancy
- Protected species licence beneficial
- Knowledge of Biodiversity Net Gain
