We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our Oncology team at CVS Group Plc. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our oncology patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality nursing care to oncology patients, including administering chemotherapy, sedation, and anesthesia as required.
- Assist with radiation therapy patients and ensure accurate and precise patient records are maintained.
- Coordinate and communicate with the patient flow coordinator to maximize efficiency and patient safety.
- Triaging referrals and booking appointments, re-check examinations, and scheduling treatments.
- Admit and discharge patients for oncology, restaging, and radiation therapy appointments.
- Ensure chemotherapy health and safety requirements are adhered to.
- Perform clinical nursing assessments, including clinical examinations for general health, BCS assessment, and basic parameters.
- Assist with the maintenance of stock levels of oncology drugs and supplies.
- Work according to oncology SOPs.
- Professional memberships funded.
