Management Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and consolidation of forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans, as well as analyzing the company's actual results.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Statement Preparation: Produce financial statements, including P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet, and variance analysis.
- Management and Statutory Accounts: Manage the production of Management and Statutory accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Financial Reporting: Conduct financial reporting, including general ledger master data, statutory reporting, IFRS reporting, and ensuring compliance with J-SOX.
- Year-End Accounts and Corporation Tax Returns: File year-end accounts and Corporation Tax returns, ensuring HMRC compliance.
- Month-End Close Process: Support the month-end close process, including prepayments, accruals, and detailed reconciliations.
- Financial Control: Monitor income and expenditure, ensuring alignment with budgets and strong financial control.
- Inventory and Fixed Assets: Manage inventory and fixed assets, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
- Finance Systems and Processes: Develop and improve Finance systems and processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Budget and Forecast Schedules: Assist with the preparation of budget & forecast schedules and conduct variance analysis.
- Strategic Analyses and Reports: Prepare strategic analyses and reports for regional headquarters.
- Qualifications: Part Qualified/Qualified CIMA/ACCA or equivalent, or QBE with experience in group structure reporting.
- Skills: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel, and proficiency in management accounting tools (budgeting, business planning, forecasting, reporting, variance analysis).
- Experience: Experience with controlling systems such as ERP, SAP, Navision, and knowledge of relevant accounting and tax regulations, IFRS, and J-SOX.
