Job Description

Three60 Energy is seeking a highly skilled Satellite Crane Maintenance Engineer to join our Product Solutions business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support in the installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of cranes, lifting equipment, and mechanical handling systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake certification of lifting equipment to meet current legal standards and provide accurate reporting.
  • Conduct regulatory and code compliance assessments of lifting and handling equipment designed by third parties.
  • Perform or assist with third-party inspections, maintenance, installation, and repair of equipment and systems in manufacture and construction.
  • Interpret and advise on design aspects related to LOLER, crane, and mechanical handling systems.
  • Undertake personal and professional development in line with company and institute requirements.
  • Travel to and represent Three60 Energy at client locations, both domestically and internationally, including overnight stays.
  • Support the IMES Crane Engineering Team in developing technical and regulatory expertise.
  • Carry out new crane installations and work with the Group Services department in assessments, repair, and refurbishment of mechanical handling equipment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 3 in an Electrical Engineering discipline or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as Lead Crane Engineer or Crane Service Technician.
  • High technical knowledge of lifting equipment, specifically gantry cranes within an operating environment.
  • Hold structured training qualifications in lifting equipment inspection (LEEA Foundation and LEEA Diploma).
  • Excellent report writing skills and ability to read and understand electrical schematic drawings.
  • Fault finding on electrical systems, including DOL 3 phase a.c. equipment, PLCs, and VFD systems.
  • Experience with motors and braking systems/controls and ability to carry out mechanical tasks.
  • Current valid driving license and passport.
