We are seeking an experienced Operations Associate to join our team at dara5. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive support to our legal and operations departments, handling complex administrative tasks and assisting with investment advisory operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Support:
  • Support the operations team in managing day-to-day activities, including administrative tasks, process improvements, and project coordination.
  • Assist with project management, including coordinating cross-functional teams, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Handle internal and external communications with key stakeholders related to operational matters, ensuring clear and timely responses.
  • Support the investment advisory team with the management of investment documentation, including client agreements, investment proposals, and performance reports.
  • Assist in the coordination of investment meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
  • Help with client onboarding processes, including due diligence, KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures, and account setup.
  • Collaborate with the investment team to ensure compliance with investment guidelines, due diligence processes, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
  • Legal Support:
  • Assist with the preparation, review, and management of legal documents, including template contracts, agreements, and compliance-related materials with astute attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and provide summaries or recommendations to support legal strategy and general operations decision-making.
  • Maintain and organise legal files and documentation, ensuring they are up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel and other service providers as required.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
  • Monitor and assist the team with compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Manage and assist with meeting regulatory compliance reporting deadlines.
  • Administrative Duties:
  • Provide general administrative support, including document management, and handling correspondence.
  • Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Implement and maintain efficient office systems and processes to support overall firm operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Relevant professional qualifications in legal studies or business operations management are a plus.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a legal or operational support role is desirable, but not required. Strong administrative and organisational skills are essential.
  • Skills: Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity project management systems.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and take initiative to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Team Player: Collaborative and adaptable, with a willingness to support both legal and operations teams as needed.

Salary Range: £45,000
