Senior Full Stack Developer Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join Oscar Technology as a pioneering in-house hire within a Power Services business with 30+ years industry experience.

Role Overview:

Oscar Technology is undergoing a digital transformation project, making several key hires on the senior leadership team. As the inaugural Full-Stack Lead Developer, you'll play a pivotal role in establishing a robust development team, working hand in hand with an agency partner to begin with. You will contribute to shaping the technology landscape, particularly on their Vendure platform which is built on TypeScript, GraphQL and Node.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of complex software applications using TypeScript, GraphQL and Node.js
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement technical solutions
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, ensuring scalability and reliability
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, GraphQL and Node.js
  • Familiarity with MongoDB and Python (preferred)
  • Confidence in DevOps practices
  • A desire to step into a hands-on leadership role

Flexibility and Work Environment:

This role offers flexibility with 1-2 days per week in a hybrid work environment, providing a balanced work environment that caters to both collaboration and autonomy.
