Job Title: Outage Planning Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Outage Planning Engineer to join our team at Rullion Limited. As an Outage Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for developing fully logic-linked and resourced task-level plans for specific plant areas, reviewing historic similar plans to identify differences, and reviewing these with appropriate Station departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop fully logic-linked and resourced task-level plans for specific plant areas
  • Review historic similar plans to identify differences and review these with appropriate Station departments
  • Manage 'Scope Change' during preparation phase and include details of risk mitigations
  • Run the area outage preparation meeting, managing the agenda, recording and tracking actions
  • Maintain plans during outage execution phase by updating progress, tracking critical path, building in and managing the impact of emergent work and identifying any errors / improvements required in the plan
  • Work with Operations to check and revise plans to maintain Tech Spec and other compliance requirements and to maximise 'Defence in Depth'
  • Support activities to deliver Pre-Outage Milestone Plans (POMP) for both statutory, off-load refuelling outages and Fuel Route outages
  • Liaise with the operational work planning team to ensure that pre and post outage work is identified and delivered as required to support successful outages

Requirements:

  • Experience within Project planning/management
  • Possess a HNC or equivalent in a engineering discipline or relevant
  • Enthusiasm, drive, ownership and the ability to facilitate change
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work in cross-functional working groups
