Job Title: Clinical Senior Officer - Dental Care

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Senior Officer - Dental Care to join our team at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality dental care to our patients, including routine check-ups, treatments, and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to dental care.
  • Participate in clinical audit and quality improvement activities to ensure the highest standards of care.

Requirements:

  • BDS or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the General Dental Council.
  • NHSE Performer List number.
  • Five years post-graduate clinical activity.
  • Experience of and understanding of the challenges presented by special care patients.
  • Experience of clinical audit and quality improvement activities.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Special Care Dentistry.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Paediatric Dentistry.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Sedation.
  • Competency in the treatment of patients using conscious sedation.
  • Experience of treating patients under General Anaesthesia.
