Support Worker for Adults

About the Role:
This exciting opportunity is available within South Lanarkshire Council's Adult Social Work Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in promoting the independence, rights, choice, and individuality of service users.
Your Key Responsibilities- Promote the autonomy and dignity of service users by providing person-centred care.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent services that meet the needs of our community.
- A Social Care SVQ Level 2 or 3, or HNC in Social Care. If not already qualified, a willingness to work towards gaining these qualifications is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users and colleagues alike.
- Temporary: 37 hours per week
- Permanent: 30 hours or 22.5 hours per week
- An hourly rate of £14.55, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
