Motor Vehicle Technician
Full Time/ Permanent Position
Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
Location: Oaklands College, St Albans

We are seeking an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to join our team at Oaklands College. As a key member of our Motor Vehicle Department, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding teaching and supporting the delivery of high-quality practical sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of outstanding teaching in the Motor Vehicle Department.
- Ensure the workshops, vehicles, tools, and equipment at our St. Albans campus are maintained to the highest standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Contribute to the development of curriculum materials and resources.
Requirements:
- Good standard of general education, including English and Maths.
- Relevant level 2 qualification or equivalent experience.
- Experience of working with young people.
- Experience of working in a manual environment.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of vehicle repair, workshop policies, and specialist automotive tools and equipment.
