Join our dynamic team as a bioinformatician or computational biologist in Guildford
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge technologies for diagnosing metastatic cancer.
You will work closely with our team of experts to drive real solutions for cancer patients, leveraging your analytical skills and technical expertise to deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new molecular (including NGS) and cell-based (imaging) techniques for diagnosing metastatic cancer
- Analyse clinical data sets to identify patterns and trends that can inform our research
- Collaborate with our biotech partners to drive the development of clinical diagnostics
- Communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
Requirements:
- PhD or 3+ years of industry experience post-MSc in bioinformatics, computational biology, or a related field
- Strong background in analysing clinical NGS and cell imaging data sets
- Experience in developing and implementing cutting-edge technologies for diagnosing metastatic cancer
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Estimated Salary: £70,000 per annum, depending on experience
