We are seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join our team at Clays Venues. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for supporting the Head and Sous Chef in delivering high-quality food to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Sous Chef in the daily running of the kitchen, ensuring that food is prepared and cooked to our high standards.
  • Run all sections in our busy kitchen, maintaining a high level of efficiency and productivity.
  • Offer training and support to junior colleagues, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Organise junior colleagues and kitchen support colleagues with daily job lists, ensuring that tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Communicate effectively with both kitchen colleagues and front-of-house colleagues, ensuring that our guests receive excellent service.

Requirements

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent culinary skills and attention to detail.
  • Hotel Management Graduate or Culinary Degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Passionate about hospitality and creating amazing experiences for our guests.
  • Ability to build lasting relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Honest with strong moral principles.
  • Take initiative, solve problems calmly, and work well under pressure.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive base salary of £29,000 per annum, as well as weekly Tronc service charge distribution. Our great benefits include:
