Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the delivery of key assignments and defined business areas, providing strategic direction and monitoring delivery aligned with our overall vision and objectives.
  • Prepare contract documents, warranties, bonds, and licenses to achieve formal execution by appropriate parties.
  • Prepare costing associated with design changes, contract awards, construction activities, and client charges, and present these to clients.
  • Develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and seek opportunities to implement improved working practices.
  • Act as deputy to the Commercial Lead and be responsible for a contract(s) between £1m - £10m in value, subject to level of risk or complexity.
Requirements
  • Member of the RICS / CICES / IOB / CIPS or equivalent professional body.
  • Educated to degree level.
  • Effective commercial / contract management skills, with clear knowledge of best practice contract methodologies.
  • Developed commercial and financial acumen.
  • Knowledge of value engineering, life cycle costing, contract law, and contractual frameworks relating to construction.
  • Developing experience of managing relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
