Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Consultant Histopathologist to join our team at Triple West Medical. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic services and contributing to the development of our pathology department.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Diagnostic Services: Provide accurate and timely diagnostic reports for a wide range of histopathology and non-gynae cytology specimens.
  2. Teaching and Training: Participate in the education and training of medical students, junior doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
  3. Service Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of new services and protocols within the pathology department.
  4. Leadership and Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services and promote best practice within the department.

Requirements:

  1. Qualifications: Full specialist registration with the General Medical Council (or eligible for registration within six months of interview) and FRCPath or equivalent qualification.
  2. Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in histopathology, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality diagnostic services and contributing to service development.
  3. Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
