About the Role

Your new company is a leading not-for-profit housing association with a national presence and a portfolio of over 50,000 homes. As a Building Surveyor, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to undertake inspections of residences, diagnose issues, and make evidence-based recommendations to ensure the housing portfolio is maintained at a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out a variety of surveys, including planned and reactive maintenance repairs, damp and mould, and condensation surveys.
  • Manage contractors to ensure work is completed within budget, on time, and to the highest standard.
  • Listen to and log customer queries during visits, providing a point of referral.
Requirements
  • Technical qualification such as HNC/RICS.
  • Experience of working in a Social Housing or Local Authority Environment (ideally residential properties).
  • At least 2 years' experience as a building surveyor.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with a diverse range of customers.
