Job Title: Senior Paediatric Audiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Paediatric Audiologist to join our team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our paediatric audiology team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical services to children and young people with hearing impairments.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in paediatric audiology, with experience in clinical research and service development. You will be responsible for leading a team of audiologists, providing clinical supervision, and mentoring junior staff members. You will also be involved in service development, research, and teaching.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality clinical services to children and young people with hearing impairments
  • Lead a team of audiologists, providing clinical supervision and mentoring junior staff members
  • Develop and implement service development projects, including research and audit
  • Provide teaching and training to medical and non-medical staff
  • Participate in clinical research and service development projects
Requirements
  • Substantial experience in clinical audiology, with a majority in paediatric audiology
  • Experience of clinical research and service development
  • BSc in Audiology or equivalent
  • Formal training in counselling in relation to childhood disability
  • MSc in Audiology or equivalent
