Job Description:
Studio XAG is a creative agency that creates extraordinary experiences for brands. We are looking for skilled Freelance Carpenters/Installers to join our team to help us build and install our creative retail productions.

About the Role:
You will be working closely with our in-house production team to build and finish projects for our clients. Our ideal candidate will have a wide range of carpentry and fabrication skills, prior experience working on set builds and creative retail production, and strong organizational and communicative skills.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in building and finishing projects to the high standards required in our industry.
  2. Work from technical drawings and read blueprints.
  3. Have strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot fabrication issues.
  4. Collaborate with our team to deliver high-quality projects on time.
  5. Work at our workshop or on-site depending on the project.

Requirements:
  1. Skilled and competent Freelance Carpenter/Installer with a wide range of carpentry and fabrication skills.
  2. Prior experience working on set builds and creative retail production.
  3. Strong organizational and communicative skills.
  4. Ability to work to high finishing standards.
  5. Ability to read and work from technical drawings.

What We Offer:
A competitive day rate, overtime/weekend rates paid at 1.5x hourly rate, and the opportunity to work on exciting and creative projects.
