Milton Keynes, Milton Keynes, United Kingdom Central & North West London NHS Foundation Trust Full time

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our team as a Mental Health Crisis Resolution Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and adaptable professional to make a significant impact in delivering high-quality psychological services to patients in crisis.

The successful candidate will be part of both the Mental Health Hospital Liaison Team (MHHLT) and the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team (CRHTT), working closely with acute hospital staff, police, social care, and other teams across Milton Keynes Mental Health Service.

As a Mental Health Crisis Resolution Specialist, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, developing and implementing service development projects, and ensuring that systems are in place for the clinical and professional supervision and support of other psychologists within MHHLT.

You will also undertake service evaluation, audit, research, and policy development, and work as an autonomous professional within BPS and HCPC guidelines and codes of conduct. Your expertise will drive service improvement and enhance the patient experience.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a competitive salary of £44,414 - £59,106 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including opportunities for career progression, training, and professional development.
