Production Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Production Manager to join our team at the Biomedical Engineering Association of Ireland. As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for managing production processes and leading a team of technical and upholstery staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement workflow planning systems, stock management systems, and quality management systems to ensure compliance with the European Medical Devices Regulations.
  • Lead the team in ensuring that production jobs are completed within agreed timescales.
  • Act decisively to address challenges as they arise and have experience of team supervision in a workshop/work-cell manufacturing environment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and quality.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional planning and organisational skills.
  • Ability to take on responsibility and support decisions taken.
  • Experience of team supervision in a workshop/work-cell manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of workflow planning systems, stock management systems, and quality management systems.
