Civil Engineers with UK Railway experience are sought for a permanent opportunity to relocate to Toronto. The successful candidate will join our Toronto team and work on Civil designs for Rail projects in the Toronto office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Design Manager in tasks related to construction documents for the Ontario Line Southern Civil, Stations and Tunnel Project.
  • Monitor the design schedule, track deliverable dates, and prepare a look-ahead schedule for distribution.
  • Identify design issues and prepare RFIs to send to the client as required.
  • Manage Design Subconsultant agreements, deliverables, and invoicing process.
  • Track project-associated costs related to design hours progress tracking and estimating.
  • Work with Discipline Leads to ensure that design solutions are fully coordinated with other disciplines and contract requirements.
  • Collaborate with BIM and CAD personnel to develop drawings, sketches, and support documents when required.
  • Track and monitor design interfaces – internal, external with the client, and external with third parties.
  • Review all contract requirements and ensure compliance.
  • Participate in Change Management and assist the Commercial Manager when required.
