Job Description

We are seeking an experienced QA Supervisor to join our team at Cranswick Country Foods Poultry. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products, as well as maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Technical Manager to implement systems that ensure compliance with internal, third-party, and retailer requirements.
  • Participate in customer site visits and other third-party audits to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the QA team to ensure that daily tasks are completed, guaranteeing compliance with relevant legislation and customer requirements.
  • Operate the traceability system correctly throughout all stages of production, from raw material intake to finished product dispatch.
  • Evaluate the quality and standard of raw materials arriving in the department.
  • Audit the manufacturing process against agreed standards.
  • Investigate customer complaints and collect KPI data.
  • Promote, monitor, and maintain high standards of hygiene practice and quality, ensuring good manufacturing practice within the factory.
  • Conduct accompanied hygiene audits with departmental hygiene teams.
