Job Summary

The Real Estate Administrator is a key member of the Wesco team, responsible for the administration of the company's real estate portfolio. This role involves managing lease administration, account management, and the operation of the company's real estate assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage lease administration, including tracking and taking action to meet lease contract terms and conditions.
  • Manage physical and database lease and contract files to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Design, prepare, and distribute monthly and quarterly reports, as well as ad-hoc reports as needed.
  • Analyze and check office consumables.
  • Conduct audits and negotiate findings to ensure sufficient credits are made.
  • Conduct post-checks, including scanning invoices and remittances to accounts payable.
  • Maintain accounts receivable records for subleases and initiate reimbursement actions.
  • Review and send post to the correct recipient.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve and streamline operations and management of accounts for UK locations.
  • Coordinate with service providers to update corporate information in the portfolio database.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in portfolio, program, operations, vendor, design & construction, facility, or client relationship management.
  • High School Degree or Equivalent required; Associates' Degree in Business or Accounting preferred.
  • Knowledge of North American real estate standards, processes, procedures, policies, metrics, and best practices.
  • Strategic thinking skills with ability to work with senior management and regional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Knowledge of database use and maintenance, as well as basic accounting principles.
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle high volumes of work accurately.
Working Environment

This role is based in a general office environment with standard office equipment. The work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time.
